Fiona Korolenchuk is a Paralegal, certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada and licenced by the Law Society of Upper Canada to provide legal services in the Province of Ontario.
Fiona has worked in various areas of law, such as Real Estate, Family and Estates, but found her niche in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Law early on in her career.
Fiona commenced employment with William "Bill" Elkin in 1991, while with his former firm, and has been working alongside Bill since that time. When Bill established Elkin Injury Law, Fiona remained a valued part of the legal team. Fiona has a particular interest and specialty in accident benefits, and has continued to remain up to date on the changes in the insurance legislation as it affects a client’s entitlement to accident benefits.
Fiona was Chair of the Law Clerk/Paralegal Chapter of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association from 2009 until 2013. In 2013 Fiona became the Education Representative, and was integral in organizing the curriculum for the bi-annual OTLA conferences.
In 2009, Fiona was voted "Outstanding Law Clerk of the Year” which is the highest award given by OTLA to a member of the Law Clerk/Paralegal Chapter of OTLA.
Fiona is an active member of the Ontario Trial Lawyer's Association, Rhe Paralegal Society of Canada and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Fiona has written 2 articles which were published in the The Litigator, and has been a speaker and presenter at numerous OTLA conferences. She is the author of 11 Continuing Legal Education papers.
Fiona is thrilled to have become a Partner of Elkin Injury Law in 2017.
As well as working full time, Fiona and her husband raised two great kids who have both flown the nest. Until a few years ago, Fiona was actively involved on the Board of Directors of the hockey association in her community and remains a true hockey fan.
